Description:

Since the Wheel is turning, and it's becoming close to the New Year, I'd like to do a journal swap. Here's the deal. Pick up a small notebook or sketch book. Beginning November 1st, write or draw an entry into the journal about every other day or so for a month. That's anywhere from 15 to 30 entries. It doesn't have to be much, just a quick "Hi! It's snowing here today, so I'm taking the kids sledding" to a multi-page entry describing your day in great detail. What I'm getting at here is.. just pretend your partner is sitting there next to you and have a conversation. For those of you who are more into drawing or art than writing, feel free to art for the day instead of writing. It's up to you.

I will assign partners near the middle of October so you have time to read your partner's profile, to get a sense of who you are writing to/drawing for. BUT, this is sender's choice!

If you prefer to get started right away, that's okay too. You can do some early entries. Just make sure that the bulk of the journal is done during November.

Around the first of December, finish off the journal and mail it to your partner.

Now, for the mundane part...
4.98 or better rating.
No 1s or 3s within the last 6 months.
One journal to one partner.
At least 15 entries in the journal.

Have fun!

Can the journal be handmade? Any specific size requirements?

I'm also interested in knowing the size and if it can be handmade :)

This swap is international, so keep it to a size that you are comfortable paying the postage for if you get an international partner. Other than that, it's sender's choice. (You may want to check out your partner's profile and make sure you're not sending them a neon pink journal if it specifically states she hates pink and neon, but other than that, it's your choice what you want to do.) Handmade is fine. So is store-bought. Hope that helps.

I have a small journal that is 5in x 6.97in will that be ok? small enough to mail out easily.

@lefroggy Sure... any size that you can afford to mail will work. That's totally sender's choice.
