Description:

Let’s start off the year with some good will and spread the love of our favourite charities!

For this swap you will send one postcard to one partner. The postcard is to be sent naked (no envelope) and stamped and addressed (prepaid postcards are welcome).

In this swap, you will send a postcard to your partner that has a logo of one of your favourite charities on it somewhere, either on the front picture or on the back. Maybe you bought a postcard from a charity, or maybe you were given free postcards by a charity, either is acceptable to post to your partner. The picture on the postcard can be of anything just as long as the charity logo is displayed somewhere on the postcard’s front or back. It will also be acceptable to have the charity logo as the picture on the postcard.

Handmade postcards or charity greeting cards turned into postcards are acceptable in this swap, as long as the charity logo is showing somewhere on the front or back of the postcard.

Write something on the postcard to your partner about the charity, eg what they do, or about your volunteer experience, or fundraising activity etc. Just write a few sentences relating to the charity’s purpose and/or your involvement with them.

Remember to include your Swap-bot username, the name of the swap, and the date you post on the postcard and mark your swap as sent.

Newbies are welcome who have a filled out profile. No recent unresolved 1’s or 3’s.

This is an international swap.

If you have any questions just ask.

Happy swapping!

I only see prepaid charity postcards being soldI before Christmas and they are themed thus (with seasonal greetings on them). Is it okay to save one like that for this swap? I wouldn't mind receiving a Christmasy card in January myself but just wanted to clarify.

Neat idea!

Can we make a postcard with a/some charity logos on it? I have gotten cards (with envelopes) from charities but no postcards.

@deesides A Christmas themed postcard is fine. The picture on the postcard can be of anything as long as there is a charity logo somewhere on the front or back of the postcard.

@Lady A charity logo as the picture on the postcard is fine. Handmade/altered cards turned into postcards are also acceptable for this swap as this swap is about getting our favourite charities noticed out there. I'll update the swap details.
