Hi! My name is Sue and I live in semi-rural South East Queensland.
I'm a regular supporter of several animal charities and one of my passions is to help save the Tasmanian devil from extinction. I help fundraise for the Save The Tasmanian Devil Appeal, and I also sponsor two devils at Devils@Cradle in Tasmania.
I'm an avid reader and love books so much I have run out of room to put them all! I mostly like reading young adult books and I really enjoy dystopian, apocalyptic, and paranormal books, but I also read some historical, fantasy and science fiction. I love discovering new Australian authors.
I love going to the movies but don't get to do it as often as I'd like. I enjoy a wide range of movies, but especially the Disney animations, mysteries, thrillers and action movies. I'm a huge James Dean fan and I love Studio Ghibli movies. My all time favourite movies are Rebel Without A Cause, My Neighbour Totoro and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.
Some of my favourite TV shows are Seinfeld, Once Upon A Time, Madam Secretary, Supernatural, Medium, Dr Who, The Goodies, Sleepy Hollow, Blindspot, The X Files and My Kitchen Rules.
I love collecting postcards from around the world and learning interesting little facts from people who send them.
I especially love postcards that depict a country's native wildlife, city views, and landscapes, but all postcards are always appreciated!
I prefer postcards sent without envelopes.
I don't collect stamps so I am quite happy to receive prepaid postcards.
I keep my postcards in an album so I would appreciate postcards that are sized less than 5X7 inches or 17X13cm where possible.
I'm a keen amateur photographer and a nature and wildlife enthusiast.
I have a blog where I share my photography and encounters with nature and wildlife in Australia. Blog link is at the top of the page if you'd like check it out.
I'm a taphophile - someone who likes cemeteries - and I love studying headstones and photographing graves and cemeteries.
I also love ghost hunting and like investigating things and reading about ghost hunters or watching TV shows about them.
