I'm happily married to my best friend (he sweetly takes all my swaps to the post office) and we have two furbabies, an incredibly anxious orange tabby & a very sassy tortie. Three of our beloved cats have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm a lover of all things books, BookCrossing, and little free libraries. I'm a caffeine addict and coffeeholic. I collect postcards, pressed pennies, souvenir coins, stationery, pens, bookmarks, stamps, vintage books, stickers, ephemera, anything cat or animal-related, blank and filled out recipe cards & postcards, etc. Dragonflies hold a special place in my heart as I consider them my spirit animal.

I have been a nomad for most of my life, and I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. Of all the places I have lived, Hawai'i is the only place that has ever felt like home.

I have a fondness for chocolates and candies from different parts of the world due to my sweet tooth. Whenever I go on a trip, I make sure to bring back some sweets with me. Unfortunately, my husband was recently diagnosed with diabetes, so I am now searching for sugar-free treats that he can indulge in.

I like to collect naval and submarine-related memorabilia as my husband was a submariner in the U.S. Navy,

Persnicketiness, arrogance, rudeness, racists, bigots

Food-inspired scents like vanilla, coconut in body care or home products -- they make me nauseous for some unknown reason. Does this happen to anyone else? 😅

I appreciate and love any & all recipes you share with me, pls. don't limit yourselves to just my likes.

As I'm inept in the kitchen, I enjoy simple, semi-homemade recipes with minimal ingredients. Especially desserts.

I'm currently on the hunt for a delicious, but simple mac 'n cheese, low-sodium & diabetic-friendly desserts for my hubby or any random recipe. My husband is an omnivore & I'm a vegetarian (occasional pescatarian).
