Description:

I was in a similar swap like this more than a year ago, and do not remember who hosted it. However, I have so many tarot decks that are not in a box or bag that I thought some of you might too.

This easy-peasy swap involves creating a handmade bag for your Sister and receiving one in return. This swap is open to all members of the group and all crafting levels. Please take that into consideration when joining this swap.

You can use any kind of material for this and any kind of crafting method; hand-sewing, wrapped, crocheting, etc. Sender's choice regarding colors, patterns, etc! Although, just in case your partner has allergies, you might check their profile first. The bag can be any style~ drawstring, button, so forth.

The only requirements are that it must fit a standard deck (usually 3" x 5", so your bag's measurements should be approximately 5" wide to 8" tall) and it must have some sort of closure; a drawstring, a button, etc.

Also, please ensure your bag can hold together~ we're not all whizzes with a sewing machine so hand stitches are allowed to be a bit crooked, but at the very least make sure your bag can handle a deck being placed in it and won't fall apart at the seams!

Any extras are not required for this swap. These bags will be lightweight and some should be small enough to be sent as flat mail. If you do decide to send extras, please do so only if you feel called.

If the bag you receive meets the minimum measurements, has a closure and can hold a deck, and has been sent on time, then please rate your partner a 5. Contact me regarding any late sends, etc, so I can try to resolve the situation.

Just about one week to sign up and two weeks after signup to send.

Do they have to be sewn, or can they be crocheted/knitted, too? Thanks.

Sorry, I neglected to see the crocheted bit. Duh, Kim, slow down. 😝
