Description:

This is an inexpensive but delightful personalized swap for everyone who sends mail, which is all of us, so-- everyone! :)

If you'd like to join in, please make sure you have several things listed in your profile that will help your partner design address labels to suit your own personal style and tastes. Just make sure that you include a variety of ideas for themes or subjects you like, and you're sure to get some labels you'll love to use.

All group members maintain well-filled-out profiles and meet the requirement of at least a 4.98 rating to join. In the unlikely event that it's necessary, I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and honestly rated a "1" for a no-send.

Here are the rules:

As with all of our swaps:

Γ’β„’Β₯ Read through your partner's complete profile for ideas of themes you can incorporate into your designs. The idea is to send your swap partners things (in this case, address labels) related to their interests that will make them smile :)

Γ’β„’Β₯Be certain to check for your partner's dislikes and avoid sending them, so you don't unintentionally spoil what would otherwise be an absolute delight (e.g. sending Garfield labels when you see that your partner has and loves cats, but find that s/he happens to strongly dislike cartoons).

You will send your partner 30 return address labels.

  • Each label will include your partner's name and address, as well as some decorative element related to her/his profile interests.

  • Unless you're a master calligrapher (in which case I hope you're my partner), the names and addresses should be typed or printed by machine, not by hand.

  • Decorative elements can be done on the computer (If you don't have software, Avery has a great free label design program online), or by hand (tiny stamped images? cutouts? mini-illustrations? We're bound to love them!), or both. Please include at least three different label designs overall (it can be fun to do even more!).

  • Please make sure they're nice and flat in the envelope before sending, so your lovely labels don't get creased, even if it means cutting the sheet rather than folding it.

As always, please send something of a quality you would like to receive.

In order to receive a 5, your labels should meet the above criteria:please rate anyone a 5 as long as they meet these criteria. Hearts are of course at your own discretion.

Once partners have been assigned, you will have 10 full days to get your swap ready and send it to your partner. As always, please do not sign up if you can't get your swap ready to send out by the send date. Remember to include a note to your partner with your name and the name of the swap.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Have fun swapping! Γ’β„’Β₯

My dear, is it normal this counts as a 'type 1-electronic swap?' :-)

No! Thank you so much, I'll fix that right away.
