Description:

Have you ever made a shaker ATC? Have you seen them and wanted to try your hand at it?

Okay. Here's your chance. Create one ATC - usual size - and make it a shaker.

There are a number of ways to create the "shake" effect.

*You can purchase the little shaker bubbles specially sold for crafting.

*You can use plastic from packaging around the house. (Check out this "Trash Bubbles" blog for ideas )

*Or, you can use dimensional foam double sided tape with clear plastic. Here is a great video example of an adorable ICAD using this technique

In regards to what you put inside ... use sequins, small beads or even hole punch holes of sparkly paper or whatever. I guess we can use glitter but be careful about using too fine a grain of glitter. Fine grained glitter may escape its window and make a huge mess. I'm not sure about sand as the "shake" material in the window. That could be messy too. So, if you use sand or fine grained glitter, make sure that stuff is sealed in the window THOROUGHLY!

If you use a bubble or your ATC gets a little thick, be sure to apply additional postage to cover the cost of mailing.

Be sure to properly label and/or identify yourself and your swap when you send.

Be sure to rate after you receive.

Have fun!
