Description:

A small notice rests pinned to a nearby tree as you walk through the grove. Similar notes reside upon the window cil of the Sleeping Unicorn tavern, seems someone wanted something advertised.

The notes read clearly on further inspection, some story of how Magister Trinket has issued a request throughout the Grove for the enchanted folk within to create a package. The Magister has always been fond of these things of course, as any of the song birds could gossip.

The subject matter mentioned in the note. ladybirds.

She seems interested in the findings of other folk within the forest. Whether or not a captured specimen is required is another matter, that it seems is left up to you to choose, or well, test your hunting skills. As it does warn these wiley aphid hunters are all over the forest, but can proove to be quite shy and illusive and Advises a cunning trap for capture.

As a sub note. It does have the Magister mention that all Ladybirds should be released and not squashed once the appropriate study has taken place. The Faeries would not be pleased should any come to harm.

Out of Character: This is a captured ladybird themed swap, as Role played on the forum.

So Just what are we swapping?

3 Captured Ladybird themed items (that stick with Roleplay if you can). hand made or bought for the exchange AND an In Character letter.

Some examples of the items could be,

  • a captured lady bird of some description maybe in a bottle, box, jar, paper packet etc.
  • a story of how you captured your ladybird IC (at least 2 sides long, maybe with pictures?).
  • a couple of ATC's or Inchies with a captured ladybird theme
  • Designs for a cunning trap, think like a blue print
  • a cloth map of the route through the forest you took hunting ladybirds
  • a soft ladybird stuffie (because everyone likes stuffies, faeries and ladybirds).
  • a charm to maybe attract more Ladybirds, so next time your partner wont need to go hunting, they will come to her.

erm... yes. I could list many things, but I hope that gives you some ideas for your three things to make for your partner.

This is an international swap - For the Enchanted Grove members so ratings should be fine (please let me know if you have issues with a low rated partner, I would like to think we wont have any flakers) - Everyone gets one partner - It would be nice to see some photos of everyones swaps lets share!

If anyone has any questions or notices anything Ive missed (this is only my 2nd ever group swap) please ask away.

Good Luck Ladybird Hunting.

Witchy forest elf Naurwen proudly announces she will be from this day on on a quest for said treasure. May the ladybirds be with you! - bows - And walks out into the woods...

Alas, I am truly saddened that I cannot join you on your newest quest. Nevertheless, my thoughts will be with you all on your journeys. I shall meet again with you on your next quest.

"hmmm...i shall have to think upon this one," Sorsha the Wicked Faerie mumbled to herself. The capture and retaining of ladybirds or any winged creature does bother her a bit, her being a winged creature herself. Albeit, she appreciates the notice to not squash or keep said ladybirds beyond the time of observation.

She'd much rather capture and observe a strapping young man or two. Or perhaps one of her favorite dishes...roasted kidlet (of the human kind) served with rice and gravy...

Sorsha chuckles to herself then slips into the meadow to look about for the ladybirds she loves so....
