So I love crochet I'm self taught and recently was told that I taught myself to crochet correctly (I thought I was just making the same mistakes so it looked the same) I thought it would be fun to crochet a square and send to a partner, with the intention that if it's successful and I can host more you can make a cushion or blanket out of it (fingers crossed) Colour and stitch is sender's choice. I have made this international as I believe one square shouldn't be that costly to send :) I will also allow newbies and will angel if necessary. Send a little notecard with your square and hopefully make some new friends. If round one is successful I may well make up a Facebook group up :)

I was about to ask the size/dimensions too :) Also, do we have to crochet in specific yarn weight/thickness for this swap?

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie and this is one of my first swaps! I have got over excited and made my square already - roughly 6 inches in sock yarn so I'm hoping it's ok, if not I'm happy to make another one in a different weight :)

So sorry for not responding everyone, I didn't know comments have been left.... I'm.thinking a 4.5" square or would people like bigger. I tend to crochet in dk only, but maybe it's something you can check with your partner
