I've been doing blind envie swaps lately, and I've accumulated a bunch of random items through those swaps. Looking at it all, I thought it could be perfect for a magpie journal!
So for this swap, you will need a journal no smaller than 4x6, but not much larger than 6x9 - store bought or nicely hand made - with at least 15 pages. The important part is that all of the items in the journal must have come to you in blind envie swaps or tuck ins. Nothing from your own stash or from your usual day. So, stamps from swaps? Yes. Envelope art from a swap (with the address obscured)? Yes. Postcard from a swap? Yes. The wrapper from a tea bag or treat included with a swap? Yes. The receipt from the museum you visited? No. I hope that makes sense. If not, please let me know and I'll try to clarify more.
Please be sure you fix the items to the pages well, so they don't fall off in mailing. And be make sure all the items you include are clean, not sticky. You don't have to translate labels, but you can if you wish.
Write the swap name and your swap-bot ID in the front cover of the journal. When you receive, please rate. :)
I"m going to set this as an International swap. For just 15 pages, the postage shouldn't be too high. Please be sure you check the postage and use a customs slip if you are sending out of your country.
Manual rating filter for a group swap. If you have any questions, please send me a PM - I honestly forget to check comments, so I might miss your question.
I"m going to make sign up early, so you can see if you are sending Internationally. But give several weeks to complete and send out the journal. Once 15 pages are completed, though, you may mail off to your partner. :)
