"Affirmations in New Thought and New Age terminology refer primarily to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment—fostering a belief that "a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything." More specifically, an affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to one's self and written down frequently. For affirmations to be effective, it is said that they need to be present tense, positive, personal and specific."

Lately I've been practicing positive affirmations and writing them down repeatedly as well as repeating them out loud. They really help with certain problem areas or just in general.

For this swap we will write down 50 affirmations for our partners to practice reading and/or writing.

You will need a pretty little notepad or a little journal (around 3x4 or 4x5 or anything small like this). On each page write a different positive affirmation. You may use a book or the internet to look up affirmations for this.

US only due to expensive international shipping on packages.

If you use a plain journal feel free to decorate the cover or pages to make it interesting for your partner, but it is not required.

No recent or unexplained ones or threes. No late swaps on your dashboard. Must have recently logged in. I will ban at my discretion. US ONLY.
