This is not a book swap but a book reading challenge with a flat mail review component.

You will read a book that has been on your TBR= to be read bookshelf for too long.You can even use an ebook, or audio book. But read or listen to a book that has been on you TBR for at least 6 months.

COMMIT, to a book, READ it and then WRITE about it and then MAIL off you review to your partner. A letter or a postcard is acceptable.

COMMIT to a book by posting its title in the comments section, and by signing up for the swap.

READ it by the last day of each month.

WRITE, a letter or a postcard, Include author and title of course, a review, 3 sentence minimum

Other things you could write about:

With a letter or a postcard you can Write the first line and the last line of the book.

How you felt about the book? Why did you wait so long to read it? Are you glad/ sorry you waited so long? Did you want to give up 1/2 way through? Sorry, but you must finish the book by the last day of the month. What did you like and not like about the book? Setting? What do you plan to do with the book now that you have read it?

Other things you can do in a letter, copy a page of the book,send a bookmark. send links to blogs.

MAIL you only have 2 days into the next month to MAIL your review, please mail on time. Don't wait til the last day to read and then mail unless you are the queen of procrastination. Hence the commit part in the beginning. Please enjoy this swap. Read a book, and write about it, mail off a review. Find your bookshelf 12 books lighter by the end of 2019.

I'll be reading Walk Gently This Good Earth by Margaret Craven. I inherited all my grandma's books when she passed away years ago and this is one of them. Kinda missing my Gram right now, and reading one of her books is like getting a hug from her. :)

I'm going to read "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" by Jules Verne. I love the movie and have always wanted to read the book, especially when they referenced it in "All the Light We Cannot See", which I absolutely loved and highly recommend!

How is everyone doing? I am 1/2 way through my book. I still wonder who the bad guy or girl is. Not enough clues. I dont find the main character very likable or one I has empathy with. We will see if she grows on me. I dont think she is intended to be likable.

I did finish this book Bad BLOOD, by Suzanne Proulx. I plan to read book 2 for April. Bad LUCk. A pretty good series.
