Welcome to the Scrap Sampler swap!

For this swap, you will make one scrap sampler, following the instructions in the video (link posted below). Make your sampler at least 4 x 6. I made mine using a file folder like the lady in the video did. I decorated the front cover of mine, but it's not required.

This is a fun way to trade our papers. I made mine with scrapbook papers, bingo papers, pieces of old maps, songbook pages, etc.

Go ahead and make your sampler ahead of time, as this swap is sender's choice.

I just realized that I made mine slightly different on the binding. Though I liked Nik the Booksmith's idea, the punched holes would have messed up a number of the pictures on the scrap pages I was sending so I did a different binding technique that I hope my partner doesn't mind. I used the click here for Perfect Binding Technique In this way the scraps could be removed just like a piece of notepaper from a pad that way the rest stayed together and less of the scrap was damaged.

I have made a few of these and I have used washi tape to attach certain images that I didn't want to my partner to have to rip. I've also attached some pieces to a post-it note so the post-it note got the hole, not the paper scrap.

No worries on how you bound the sampler. The video was just an idea. ☺️
