VC: Tag Book Page #7 - July

I've seen a few "tag books" lately, and my mind has been blown. Using a standard #8 shipping tag (6 1/4x3 1/8"), with a horizontal alignment (hole on the left side as you look at the tag), make a beautiful "July" themed design for your swap partner. A beautiful summer theme comes to mind with red, white, and blue...or maybe the July flower (larkspur, which coincidentally is blue) and gem (the ruby, which coincidentally is red)! Don't forget to use a "landscape" rather than a "portrait" design...the tag book will be very wide and not very tall! The idea is that we will tie our little tag book with ribbons, string, lace...it's going to be your choice...once we have a certain number of "pages" accumulated. Do your best work, and have fun with this swap!

I was reminded of the fact that for our Australian friends, it's the middle of winter...if you know you're sending to someone in the Land Down Under, please check with your partner to see if they might enjoy receiving a July tag tailored for the southern hemisphere. I apologize for not taking this into account with the first 6 swaps...I have a few Australian swapper friends who are very dear to me, and I would never intentionally slight them.
