Description:

Expecto Patronum!

...the Patronus is ‘a kind of Anti-Dementor – a guardian which acts as a shield between you and the Dementor.’ It’s also ‘a kind of positive force, a projection of the very things that the Dementor feeds upon – hope, happiness, the desire to survive – but it cannot feel despair, as real humans can, so the Dementors can’t hurt it.’

Each Patronus is unique to the witch or wizard who conjures it, and it’s possible, in some cases, for a Patronus to change.

Pottermore

A Patronus is a very difficult spell to cast for even high level witches. In fact, many can only create a non-corporeal, or misty, version. For this swap, we're going to be creating our own corporeal Patronus handmade postcard to send to your partner.

On a 4x6 piece of black or dark blue piece of paper you will use white medium (crayon, paint, colored pencil, gel pens, etc) to draw your Patronus. Your Patronus can either be from the Patronus quiz on Pottermore or you can make it up yourself (favorite animal or one that represents you, your inner spirit, fight, or faith). Attach to a sturdy backing and send along.

Specs
- 4"x6" minimum (remember that larger postcard means larger cost at the post office)
- Sturdy (but flexible) backing
- Can be sent naked, in a clear envelope, or in a regular envelope. Please check your partner's profile for preference
- Don't forget the swap name and your id so you can be rated

Additional Info
- This is an international swap, keep that in mind.
- If your partner doesn't follow through, I will angel. Please make sure you have reached out to them then rated a one after no response from them before reaching out
- Send on time. If life happens and you cannot send on time, contact your partner and myself about the delay. Thank you!
