This swap is intended to match up two women of Christ who are interested in pen paling....hopefully you gain a Christian Pen Pal that becomes a lifelong friend! You MUST read the profile of the partner you are assigned and try to get to know them via that profile. Often the profile is a good indicator of what you might have in common other than our #1; God. Share about you, ask about them, have a conversation that incorporates some things you know; ask about things you don't know. At LEAST two sides of a 8.5 x 11 amount of content, though you can use ANY PAPER (Short letters are no way to get to know one another) Don't stop just because you hit the requirement! It's all about the CONTENT. You don't have to have stationery, washi, stickers, or decoration of any kind....just focus on the content. You can, but it is not expected for this one! You do not need to send anything extra, just focus on the content of the letter. Hope everyone gains a new Christian friend via Snail Mail! Put your heart into it....really think about t hat person....and while you're writing, say a prayer for them!! RATING: 5 for receiving a letter that has enough content for 8.5 x 11, both sides and it is obvious that they read your profile. Remember God's unending grace when rating. (If that person touches your heart in the letter, give them a heart! It's not about the extras, it's about the LETTER content!)

I was going to sign up for this but with a 4.00 rating requirement this swap is going to attract a lot of flakers & chronic late senders...it's too much a gamble =(

Not necessarily. Not all newbies are bad apples. Those who love to write do so for the sake of the craft; they write because the want to not because they expect something in return. I would absolutely love to join, but as a newbie I do not meet the rating requirement and have reached my new user swap sign up limit.

Zefaniya: I don't think this is the type of swap that would attract someone who would flake but anything is possible...if it is not worth the risk to you, I understand.

IDreamOfAfrica; Does it say you are not allowed to join? It shouldn't unless you don't have a 4.00 or higher? I didn't put a requirement on the amount of swaps you had to have been in so that it would be good for everyone?!
