...A dotee swap for fans of Edward Gorey and his Gashlycrumb Tinies. Info from Wickipedia: The Gashlycrumb Tinies: or, After the Outing is a book written by Edward Gorey that was first published in 1963. Gorey tells the tale of 26 children (each representing a letter of the alphabet) and their untimely demise in rhyming dactylic couplets, such as "A is for Amy who fell down the stairs. B is for Basil assaulted by bears." Gorey's Tinies are goth Victorian waifs. Try to give your dotee the same flavor. Make a dotee and write a couplet to go with it. The deadline is friday, February 13th. :) You must have either a 4.8 rating or a filled out profile if you are a newbie. This swap is open to international swappers as well.

Should the dotee and couplet be in the same style of how it tells a tell of their untimely demise? I sure hope it is!! Thanks for inviting me, I didn't even see this one yet!

Yes, the couplet tells of the dotee's untimely demise. Hmmm...just realized a couplet is two lines and Gorey used a line per letter...hmmm...artistic license required here...I guess one line would suffice, unless the poetic muse is with you and two line come to you.

Oh, and with the Gashlycrumb tinies, Gorey did 26 letters, each one taking up half of a couplet, making for 13 couplets. Heh.
