Description:

This will be a quick turn around flat mail swap. This swap is International and you will have just 1 partner. This swap is sender's choice, so you can't mark down for washi you don't like! While this isn't a ratings booster swap, if you have any issues with the swap, please contact your partner to resolve before rating down - give them a chance to resend.

For this swap, you will be sending 8 washi tape samples (no plastic type tape or duct tape types, just traditional paper based washi tape. Scotch Expressions and Michael's tapes are ok, but 'cheap' tapes that tear or are not sticky are not acceptable.) Limit holiday designs to only 1 for upcoming holidays (so, Valentine/love based, shamrocks, Easter eggs/bunnies, but not Christmas type.)

Each sample should be a minimum of 18 inches (or about 46 cm) and needs to be wrapped around a plastic type coated card for easy removal.

Please send tapes you would like to receive. This isn't profile based, but if you can look at your partner's profile and match up something that they would like, that would be a nice thing to do, right? :)

Be sure to include the swap name and your swap-bot ID so your partner can easily rate you!

Be sure to send on time and rate your partner when your swap arrives!

Please remember, this is an International swap, and mail going between countries can take a little longer. If your partner is from another country, and your swap hasn't arrived, please contact them and be willing to wait a little bit before rating them a 1.

Who can join?

I'm using a manual rating filter for this swap, and will decide case by case based on your profile and ratings. If I have questions about ratings, I will contact you with questions, and you need to respond or I will ban you from the swap. To me, communicating shows that you wish to follow through with the swap.

If your rating is below a 4.98 - if you have any unresolved 1's or 3's or any recent 1's or 3's and wish to join this swap, please send me a PM ASAP, and explain the ratings. Please don't leave comments below, as I will not see them until I am assigning partners. If you wait to the day before partners are assigned to join and have issues on your profile or ratings, you may be banned because I won't have time to communicate with you.

All swappers need to sign into swap-bot at least 3 days before sign up ends. This shows me you are active.

All swappers need to have a very well filled out profile. Likes & dislikes, especially with washi interests, is probably a good topic to have on your profile for swaps like this. :)

I will check through profiles before assigning partners, and I will ban anyone I think may be a problem. I may contact you ahead of time, but I don't always, though i do try to leave a comment. If you know of any problem swappers or double profilers, please send me a PM with the information and I will take it into consideration. But please do not leave a comment below as I may not see it as quickly.

I will angel if you are flaked on, but we won't have any flakers, right? :) If you have issues with the letter you receive or if you don't receive a letter, please contact me and I will angel after you have left the appropriate rating.

For new swappers - partners will be assigned the day after sign up ends, usually by noon (I'm in the Pacific time zone). You should receive an email from swap-bot when partners have been assigned, and directing you to come back to the swap to find your partners. To find your partner, look on the right side of the swap description and you will see 'see who your partners are' (or something like that) and a new window will pop up. When you drop your letter in the mail, please click that you have marked it sent. Swap-bot assigns partners, I do not have any control over who you are paired up with. Once the swap sign up ends, I just check over the list again, and click a button and the computer bits and bops assign partners. It's like magic. :)

If you have any questions Please PM me rather than leaving a comment below, as I may not see it until partners are assigned. Admittedly, I forget to check comments until the end.

For USA swappers - please note that the USPS has decided to raise rates again, both for additional ounce and International, I believe. So please check your postage before sending out, as this swap falls after the rate increase.
