This is for potential pals who are willing to put in the effort to get to know their partners and see if they're a match for ongoing pen paling.
๐Rating based on whether it was obvious that your partner actually read your profile (obvious as in they commented on multiple topics in your profile; if they did that, it's a 5; rating is NOT based on commonalities, it's based on whether they READ your profile.)
No requirements on length (just a real letter, not a couple paragraphs), or artistic abilities (decorate if you like, but not required), and no stationary or tuck-ins required (include if you like). The requirement is to really read the profile and focus on the person you're writing to in your letter and comment on their profile, ask questions about them specifically, etc.
Hopefully you will gain a pal or two, but keep trying if you don't get a long term match; just like when you meet people in person, some you click with and some you don't....it may take several swaps to get a pal that feels like a long lost friend.
