Description:

Thank you to the group founders, for letting me host my first swap. Some of you may be aware of travelling postcards and others not.

A travelling postcard is just that. It travels around, with each person leaving their mark. I will be doing the full card format allowing us to have more destinations. Naked ones only have a few names ,but if you want to do one please comment.

Directions:

1 Pick a card that you like ( not too heavy ,or oversized since that requires extra postage)

  1. Write the swap name :LSRUS Travelling postcard for ( insert your user name) At the very top. Try to keep it small.

  2. You will use this ( badly edited, maybe someone can help me our laptop with word is busted ) template/ to attach to the card ,giving directions . In subsequent rounds please make sure to keep these attached even if sending multiple cards. You can also hand write / use Office, word etc.

info template

4 . Once assigned your partner ,you will put it in an envelope and send it off

5 Last but not least , once you receive your swap sign it with your name ,country or region and date .Remember try to keep it small. Ideally no more than 1 inch long and 1/4 in height You can use mini labels too. Just remember to keep it small.

Optional : include a little flat extra like stickers, washi samples, extra postcards. Totally up to you

I will host a round each month. If you are unable to participate ,you can hold onto those cards. You will be able to send up to 3 at a time. Please consider if you are willing to participate on a regular basis. One or two rounds Missed are ok,but if you no longer want to participate ,please return the cards to me,so I can get them back in circulation . My info is in group forum Only one homer will be allowed

This swap is international.

If you are worried about cost of shipping, It is one of the cheapest types of international swaps at 1.20 USD . With subsequent swaps it will still remain 1.20USD. Also for our friends in Europe I know it is affordable too. Only 3 cents more for Deutsche post lol!

Swappers must have a 4.99 rating and 5 non electronic swaps. My biggest thing is making sure you will participate . If you are not really into travelling/collaborative mail, this swap isn’t for you. I will angel if necessary

Here is a great video on how the whole thing works

You are welcome. I am going to try this. I have seen this before but was unable to join. Now I have many postcard books. So I am going to get on board.
