Description:

I have a ton of washi tapes. Some of my washi tapes are limited edition and out of production or not too long to begin with, so I don't really want to do sample swaps, but still want to share the designs. Washi strip (swatch?) postcards seem to be the best way, they don't use up too much of the tape but still manages to share their beauty with others. Also, they are not time consuming like washi tape art.

For this swap:

=2 partners, 1 postcard: 1 partner

=use your Thanksgiving/Autumn washi tapes. Use as many different designs as you can. Try to use the tapes you are reluctant to use in longer tape swaps!

=swatch your washi tape strips either horizontally or vertically across a 4x6 inch cardstock. By cardstock, I mean blank cardstock that is thick enough to send out as postcard, but don't use an actual postcard as your base because the picture and washi tape will overlap.

=if your washi tapes aren't really sticky, put double sided tapes on the edges so the tapes won't come off.

=send the cards as postcards without envelope. only 35cents to send 4x6 postcards. write a nice message :)

= the picture are example cards I made.

= USA only due to postage

=rating requirement: 4.98 no recent unexplained 1's or 3's . Please don't join if you know your postal system isn't working too well lately.

I’m assuming by cardstock you mean postcard right? And do we put the Washi tape sample on the front of the postcard? I like this swap idea, I have a lot of Washi samples from swaps!

@kizzlets I mean blank white(or vanilla) cardstock paper that is thick enough to send out as postcard. You decorate one side (where a postcard's picture side usually goes), and write the backside as usual. Don't use an actual postcard, the picture of the card and washi tape will overlap.

Make sense! Thank you very much!
