PBP …Stitching** For this swap you get ONE partner ONE* 5”X7” Your collage should include not limited to real stitching or faux stitching. It should contain at least 3 elements, such as lace, papers, inks, embellishments _you get the idea…. " ““I am certain that a Sewing Machine would relieve as much human suffering as a hundred Lunatic Asylums, and possibly a good deal more.” ― Margaret Atwood, Alias Grace “It was no surprise that her sewing was so uneven, for to make even stiches the seamstress herself had to be steady. Abigail tended to hunch over her patchwork, her fingers and thread a snarl, and sew a few stiches before abandoning it to look down the road towards the houses near the general store, or to get up for a drink of water.” ― Tracy Chevalier, The Last Runaway This should be an art journal page that can be added to an existing journal. Make on a sturdy background. If it flops in the wind, don’t send. Your name, email, should be on the back, signed on the front A list of material used on the back is also nice. The usual stuff: Should go without saying, but will say anyway....
Have fun! Please think about posting your photos on the Page by Page Flickr Group account so we can all see these beautiful pages. I love to see how others create! Swapbot Flickr Page Use any medium (see above) you wish/ but no nudity or sleaze please. Create an art journal page that can be added to an existing journal. Remember this is for someone’s art journal. You will have 1 partner. You will only need to complete one side as many people glue them onto another page. Sign the front as you would any piece of artwork you are proud of. Make a small tag with your information on it to be included with the page (can be attached or separate). To add to an altered book: When you receive a tip-in page, you open your book and cut 2 pages out of it about ½ to ¾ inches from the gutter. Then you glue the inside of each page, slide your tip-in page into the space that has the glue and sandwich it in between. Now you have a new page to your altered book! These are a great way to share end enjoy another's work without the risk of sending your whole book through the mail as you would do in a round robin."
