Can I ask what fbs are? I'm sure I'm being dim here :) And what are est fbs? I bet I will figure it out soon as I send this!!

I googled it and found Fetal Bovine Serum, Football Bowl Subdivision, and Fasting Blood Sugar...but those can't be it. Now I'm really curious.

FB's are Friendship Books. IF you google Friendship Books, there are some sites to help.

You sign in each FB by putting in your mailing label and listing what you collect/swap or are looking for in a penpal, or you can put SNNP = Sorry No New Penpals, and then you pass it on to the next person to sign. If you don't have someone to pass them on to, then you pass them on in swaps such as this one on Swapbot.

Est. FB's means Established Fb's, ie not new, someone has already made the fb for a friend or swap, and thus there is already at least one other person signed into it.

However Est.it does Not mean a Full fb...a Full fb is one which there is no more room to sign into it or put a label in, a Full fb needs to be returned to the person the fb was made for (ie the first label, sometimes on the cover)

There are also Fs (friendship sheets, a page to be filled with folks labels), decos fbs (you get a page to decorate in the mini book, then pass it on to someone else to decorate the next page, Slams (you answer questions per page) and more. However it appears this swap is only for the regular kids of fbs (for penpals and swappers labels) that are already established.

As Emerald said over in her swap, think of them as guestbooks.

I only swap FB's, so for me no FS, No Decos, No Slams please.

er, that was supposed to be regular Kinds of Fbs, not regular "kids" of Fb's LOL

yes thank you for posting tothe person above me!! My child is sick so I am late in responding but an FB is a friendship book.

An FB is a a very small book which you make for someone with their name and address and email in it. You then send that FB to a penpal or another person that swaps fbs and they add their info to the book. The FB is passed on to other ppl until it is full and then the last person to sign it sends it home to the owner of the book and then the owner get to look through their book and pick penpals and swappers.

oh and EST fbs means established fbs...like more than 1 person signed the book and you where not the first one to make the book. New fbs are ones that you make, brand new
