Description:

Have you ever seen an envelope made of vellum or with a window and thought "Oh my goodness that is so cool!" I know I have. iI you have thought that too then this is the swap for you.

For this swap, you will be making 2 envelopes. One completely out of vellum and one with a vellum window.

Each envelope should be at least 3 inches by 3 inches. You can choose to make it bigger, but please do not make it any smaller. Both envelopes should be mailed in a separate envelope so your partner has the option to use the envelopes you made.

The first envelope will be made completely out of vellum. so the entire envelope will be transparent. Please decorate it in any way you would like, but the majority of it should be transparent.

The second envelope will have a window. you can make this two different ways.

the first, by making a regular envelope and cutting a shape out of it, and covering it with vellum so that you are able to see into the envelope but only in one spot.

the second is where one panel of the envelope is made entirely of vellum. so that you can see into the envelope on one side. Below is a video that explains this in more detail.

overall you will be sending:

1 fully vellum envelope

1 vellum window envelope

These will be mailed in a separate envelope.

you are free to add any extras you desire but it is not mandatory. You will have 2 weeks from the sign-up day to mail If you would like any clarification or think I should change anything about this swap please send me a message!

If you don't have enough vellum to make an envelope you could use tracing paper so long as you reinforce the edges.
