Description:

Let your creative Halloween spirit shine with this black, spooky-themed mail art swap. For this swap, you will send 1 partner a Halloween card with a decorated “mail art” envelope. Not just sticker slapping but something creative, dark and goth-inspired that will elicit a reaction from the recipient when they receive it in the mail!

Think dark and eery rather than bright and cute.

I won’t say how many types of materials you need to use. Some people do hand-drawn illustrations on the outside. Others use collage. Other ideas include paint, markers, metallics, washi, interesting lettering and/or cool Halloween-themed stamps. Stickers are fine with other elements. Ultimately, it’s your decision based on your creative inspiration.

Please also include 2 flat goodies in the envelope since I’m sure this group has some cool stuff to share! These could be stickers, postage stamps, washi samples, ephemera, misc Halloween goodies, etc.

On the inside of the card, write a nice note to your partner about Halloween. Don’t forget to include the swap name and your name.

Please be mindful of partners dislikes, but mostly this is sender’s choice.

I will angel swaps.

Please note, I don't always see comments on this page right away, so if you need to reach me, please DM me. Thank you!!

So do you just decorate the envelope and leave the card blank?

@aceinbeautyland I just saw this message now. I'll update the description. You should write a note on the Halloween card to your partner and also include the swap name and your username.

Because there are so many swaps all with Oct 1st and 2nd due dates, I’m changing this swap’s due date to Monday Oct 4th.
