Description:

This will be a series. This swap is Snail mail, but if you'd like an email version, please let me know! :)

This idea came from a suggestion from a group member, and a podcast I recently listened to!

Hop over to the Group Forum for Reading Through the Decades: 1930's. There is a link to a Good Reads list for books from the 1930's. You don't HAVE to use that list, you can search for other lists of books published from 1930-1939.

Add to the forum - books you've read from that decade.

Now, for the swap! In a notecard - or postcard, if you wish & have enough room - to your partner, tell them the name of at least one book published in the 1930's that you've read. Would you recommend the book to you partner? Do you remember when you read it? You don't have to write a whole review, just talk about your thoughts of the book.

That's it! Just one book for a requirement, but you can do more if you want.

If you like this idea, we have a bunch of lists! Feel free to look ahead at other decades to get ideas and feel free to comment on them all. :)

You do not need to refer to the list linked above. This is just one example, and it is a Good Reads list so it may have books from other decades. Feel free to look at Wikipedia or any other site for books first published in the 1930's. If you find a list that you like better, please feel free to post the link below for other group members to reference.

Please send me a PM if you have any questions.
