Writing IS a craft in my opinion - so yes, this IS a type 3 swap -- Write your one partner a note about what "being a woman" means to you and if you'd like to include anything else for your partner - such as a flat surprise, whether woman-themed or not - that's up to you! Swap closes at end of April and you'll have all of May to write your note ... consider looking at your partner's profile to see if you have common interests you might include in your note, too. From the Smithsonian National Postal Museum website:*This American Woman Issue stamp [shown above, Scott #1152] pays tribute to American women and their accomplishments in civic affairs, education, arts and industry. The stamp features an image of a mother and daughter in front of an open book. A building and gavel symbolizes womenโs participation in civic affairs such as government or judicial organizations. A mortar board, books and diploma symbolizes womenโs participation in education and academia. A caduceus, microscope, violin and mask of drama symbolized womenโs participation in the arts, such as entertainment and music, and industries, such as medicine and scientific research. |
