Description:

Did you know that, until 1915, people could stick some stamps on a baby and mail her to Grandma? I kid you not!

For this swap, we're going to send some "naked mail". As in, send something naked (without an envelope) to your partner.

Make it something unusual, like a small purse, or a tennis ball. Maybe a small stuffed toy? Think outside the box.

I will angel, of course, but it shouldn't be necessary. We don't have any flakers in this group.

So... mail "something" to your partner. Something pretty or handmade, maybe? Sender's choice.

This should be fun!

I used to work in the main PO , downtown St Paul MN. I would frequently see full size car tires with postage on them. The most unusual item I saw was a full set of antlers. They had some plastic wrap wound around them and the address and postage was stuck to that. Definitely non-machinable.

We used to send art journals naked, just tape the book closed with washi tape.

I've dropped keys in the mail with a key fob that had an address on it.

Once, I mailed a purse full of goodies to my granddaughter.

And, they are kind of expensive because of the weight, but painted rocks are also fun to mail.
