Description:

This is our first swap, so we'll make it easy. You will have two partners and send each partner one postcard which depicts an animal or plant associated with your country. It need not be rare, but if it is endangered or rare, it helps raise awareness. Write a note on the postcard about it, stamp it and send. Easy :) Obviously this is international, and it is also open to newbies. Enjoy :)

Great swap...I would love it if also the animals were actually regional...like I live in Colorado, and in this area we have several specific species thatare in serious trouble.

peace, Holly

I think thats great Holly. I have just bought my cards, and one of the animals is in danger, the other has reduced numbers. I am sure the third one is native to Scotland only...I'll need to read it again. Got a memory like a seive. Like I said, (and probably preaching to the converted in the group anyway) raising awareness is a good enough reason :) Thanks for joining Susie.

If I can't find a postcard with the animal I want, is it okay to make the postcards?

Yes, that would be lovely :)
