Description:

I have been hosting junk journal swaps for years on Swap-bot and I really love them! I do it a little differently because you don't actually mail anything. You create your layout and just email a photo of the finished page to your partner(s). It is a fun way to get support and encouragement from others and still hold on to your creations.

If this sounds like a swap you may want to do repeatedly, get a TN (traveler's notebook) or art journal. Something with at least 20 pages. Then each round you need to read over everything listed below so that you can gather all 5 of the pieces and then have fun creating. The Bonus item may be switched out for something you can't find or do not care to use.

For round 6 here is the list:

a list

sales ad

architecture

star(s)

something that arrived in the mail

• Bonus: embroidery floss

Rate your partners a 5 for effort. Even if they didn't get everything onto their page. This swap is meant to be fun and get us to use our craft stash!

Because there is a craft component to this swap I am categorizing it as a Type 3 swap. The mini lists for each round come from the designer/shop Mellowmiller on Etsy.

What would architecture be?

soyprincesa2 09/ 8/2023 #

@bluecrayons Architecture could be..... a picture from a book or magazine of a building, a bridge, a house/cottage, an arch.... It could be an image of a floor plan like what architects draw for house plans. It can be something as abstract as material that is used for building like a piece of rock or wood or tile.
