Description:

USA ONLY PLEASE! You have 1 partner only.

This is a letter swap. Please write at least 3 paragraphs about your favourite winter holiday. You can include as much as you want, though!

Questions to think about might be:

Why do you like it? Did your family celebrate it? What are some special symbols or elements, what do they represent? Do you celebrate the holiday? Or do you celebrate another, but you incorporate elements and ideas from other traditions?

This is open to ANY holiday in November-January. There are many!

You do not have to celebrate the holiday to appreciate things about it. Not all holidays are considered "religious" and do not have to have a religious component.

Winter holidays can be Chanukah, Xmas, Yule, Kwanzaa, St. Lucia's Day, anything between November - January.

You can write this by hand or type it out. Mobility issues are perfectly fine and don't need to be explained.

You can decorate your envelope if you want to, but it isn't required.

Please do not join this swap if hearing about holidays you don't celebrate is offensive, since this is open to everyone.

While this swap is open to new users, I will still be checking profiles for 1s in the past 6 months. Must have 10 type 2 swaps. Type of swap is different from ratings. I don't expect people to flake on this swap tbh because there's nothing to "gain." There are no supplies or items to get, y'know? But even so.

Reminder: SB does NOT alert anyone to comments under Swaps! Please message a host directly with questions.
