Can you believe it's time to start planning for InCoWriMo again already? How did that happen?! :) If you don't know what that is, click the link, it will take you to the page with all the details.

InCoWriMo is one of my favorite times of the year, and I actually look forward to it each year! Last year and this year, I just do not have enough time to host as many swaps for this wonderful month, but I want to encourage and participate! So if anyone would like to host extra letter swaps this month, please do so! If you are not an officer, contact me and I will make you an officer to host letter swaps!

This will be a series of swaps over the course of February. You don't know to participate in InCo to do these swaps - and if you are doing InCo, you won't get enough people to write to just from these swaps - but we can still exchange some letters!

This swap is International and you will have just 1 partner. Write a standard length group letter (details on group home page) to your partner. Please write your letter TO your partner, based on previous swaps or their profile! Please don't write your letter ahead of time in a generic way. (I've gotten a few of this type from this group and it leaves me feeling sad. In the old pen palling world, we called those 'form letters.' No form letters here, please!)

Letter can be typed or handwritten, on stationery or plain paper - that's up to you, and be sure to check your partner's profile in case they have requests.

Letters do not need to be on traditional stationery or in a letter set. Letters can be sent using a blank note card with an extra sheet of paper, in a postalette or fold and seal, you can use multiple sheets of note paper, a Frankenletter. You can be creative, if you wish!! Try to keep the letter to the 2-page standard length for the group, but you have options here - have fun. :)

Tuck in's/extras are not required - that is sender's choice, but please check your partner's profile to see what they might like to receive, or if they'd prefer not to receive anything. Envelope decoration or mail art is sender's choice.

Please be sure to clearly write the NAME of the swap and your ID on or with your letter! This will be a series and can be easy to confuse. Writing the swap name/ID on the outside of the envelope is ok, but damaged mail can make it difficult to read.

If anyone would like a US only version of this swap, please send me a PM. Group officers are welcome to set up additional swaps like this for more letters in the month of Feb, but I'm limited as to how many I can commit to.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please SEND ME A PM! If you leave a comment below, I will not see it.
