Description:

This is a low stress swap for all levels of artists (or people who wish they were artists!).

For this swap, simply take a new notecard -- any notecard -- and draw a waterfowl (duck, goose, swan, etc) loon, or grebe on one side. Notecard, for the purposes of this swap, means a folded greeting card that has an image or sentiment on the front and is blank inside. Here is a big ol' list of waterfowl, here are grebes, and these are the 5 loon species. Pick any bird on these lists, keeping in mind that other types of water birds will be in other swaps -- we're doing waterfowl, loons, and grebes only -- and have fun sketching it out! You can draw directly on the card, or use a separate sheet (as long as it fits into the card unfolded) and secure it into place with glue, washi, etc.

On the other side of the card, write the common name of the bird and any other information or facts you feel like. You may also include a nice note to your partner. Make sure to put your SB username and swap name. Extras not required. Pop in an envelope, slap on a stamp, and mail!

Your drawing doesn't have to be colored in or objectively good, just please take your time. But if you want to make a masterpiece, that is fine too!

One partner, 4.95 minimum, no recent or unexplained 1's or 3's. Please contact me and your partner if you will be late. I will angel if anyone flakes. Newbies welcome with a well-filled profile

Please give ample time for your card to arrive. This swap is international from here on out.

Thanks for reading and happy swapping!
