SP: Summer Haiku Postcard

It's summer and it's time to write!

For this swap, you will be sending one nice storebought postcard or neatly handmade postcard to one partner (Zazzle ok, no ad/freebie). Try to pick something summer-y, but it's sender's choice.

In the message section of the card, you will be writing one original haiku-inspired poem -- a 3-line, non-rhyming poem with the syllable pattern 5-7-5 -- about summer. The tone and content are up to you, it just needs to follow the above rules. You can title it if you wish, but that is not required. Here are two examples to demonstrate how much freedom you have with this one!

windy gusts of life into

fall will come too soon

Make sure you also include the swap name and your username. Send the card naked (no envelope) and rate promptly and fairly when you receive!
