Poet's Workshop

For this swap you'll put together a nice poetry package for one partner. Your package must include at least 25-30 poetry writing prompts/ideas/challenges--you can make them up, share ones that you've used yourself or ones you would like to try, etc. You can write them out in a list, on an altered deck of cards, on the pages of a little idea notebook, etc. Creativity is key. :)

Finish up your package with other poetry-themed items. The more the merrier! Shall we say..five separate things, minimum? Including the aforementioned writing prompts.

What else can you stick in your package? Here are some ideas:

--A book of poetry

--A writing handbook

--A cd of spoken word poetry

--A blank book & pens

--Some of your favorite poems, written or printed out nicely

--Some poems you've written yourself

--A list of useful links (there's a ton of online resources--how to analyse poetry, more writing prompts, magazines, blogs, etc)

--Magnetic Poetry kits (you can DIY with magnet paper, if you like)

--A poetry-themed movie (Dead Poets Society, Shakespeare in Love, etc)

--A poetry-themed novel (The Poetry Girl, Emily of New Moon, etc)

--Something whimsical that's associated with beatnik poets (a beret, a quill pen, a fake mustache--please DON'T send illegal drugs through the mail, haha)

--I'm sure you can think of more ideas. :)

One package (envelope, box, however your items fit best), for one partner, five or more items (including your collection of writing prompts), and plenty of time to work with. Right? Of course right!

Swappers rated 4.8 or higher with no recent 1s or 3s are welcome to participate. I'll check profiles before I assign partners.
