Description:

This is my first time hosting, but if this goes well and enough people are interested I would definitely do this again.

You will have one partner and what you will do is take five pieces of 8.5Ò€ x 11Ò€ cardstock and do different techniques with acrylic paint, watercolors, watercolor crayons, pastels, whatever. I recommend priming the paper with gesso first. Some examples of things you can try are dropping different colors of paint on the paper and spreading them around with a credit card, dropping paint on the paper and blowing it around with a straw, rubbing paint around with your hand (please use gloves to protect you from chemicals in the paint), dabbing on paint with a sponge, splattering paint, use rubber stamps, etc. Use your imagination! If you get stumped you can go to youtube and watch videos on art journaling to get some ideas.

Postage should be fairly inexpensive so I am making this international.

You will then send your pages to your partner who can cut them up for ATC backgrounds, use them for scrapbooking, use as a base for a journal entry, whatever you would normally do with decorative paper.

I have had some issues with flakers so I am requiring that you have at least 10 snail mail swaps under your belt and no recent 1s.

I hope to run this one again if all goes well!

Just a question. You say decorative paper but then ask for it on cardstock. Could you please clarify what is to be used.

We will be using plain cardstock and making it decorative by painting it.

I don't think I will have enough snail mail swaps by then but I will watch in case. I am very interested in this one.
