ATTN Lloyd: I got a mysterious envelope from you but it came without a swap title or user name. If you think this may have come from you than please message me with what was in the package and I will leave feedback. Whoever you are, thank you. It brightened my day!
If there is a problem with my package please let me know before rating!! Whether it be that you did not receive or whatever it is send me a personal message. I recycle packaging when possible so while it may not look pretty on the outside I promise it is made with love on the inside.
I'm currently 21 and live in Los Angeles. I work too many hours at a job that has lots of room for improvement. My passions include crafting, cycling, reading, anime, comics. I like to create with things that are on hand because it pushes me to learn new techniques and skills...and I don't turn into a starving craft artist. This leads to a lot of repurposed elements in my crafts.
Current Obsessions include: Learning Bookbinding, Flight of the Conchords, Soul Eater, Discovering paper crafting. My new 250 page hole punch, and Y the Last Man
Can Do: Jewelery, Needle Felt, ATCs
I'm also beginning a visual journal
Learning: Bookbinding, Stenciling, Etching, Paper Crafts
(in no particular order) Six Feet Under, Xena: Warrior Princess, Soul Eater, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Freakazoid!, Dead Like Me, Flight of the Conchords, Red Dwarf, Firefly, X-Men the Animated Series
A strange brew including Tori Amos, KoRn, Dethklok, Say Hi, Matisyahu, Apocaolyptica, Dub Trio, Flight of the Conchords, Kwoon, OHM, Johnny Cash
Paper crafts supplies in black, white, sepia, brown and red. Pretty much in that order. I love patterns, especially classic ones like damask and pretty swooshes or flourishes.
ATC Supplies or 6"x6" papers
Road bicycles are love. Anything having to do with them are love. If I'm not grinning like an idiot while riding on my bike I'm either out of shape or afraid to catch a bug in my mouth.
Rainbows! *see dislikes
Unicorns and the Phoenix
Fiber to felt with
Retro pinup items and ephemera. Anything before 1970. June Palmer is my hero!
Hello Kitty as long as it isn't too pink.
Colorful markers. None of the cheap kind that run out after a couple of uses please. I have enough of those as it is :(
I love human anatomy. Any medical diagrams would be cool.
Nothing smelling of perfumes. I can't stand perfumes...Fresh smelling things like soap are okay...but perfumes tickle my nose instead of me actually smelling a scent. It's annoying.
Papaya. No. I hate papaya with a passion. No exaggeration.
I don't really like Pink and no Orange or Yellow. I have a strange relation with color and yellow and orange make me nervous :(. I can stand a little yellow but orange is worse.
Manga. I love anime but dislike manga. I prefer the story telling style of American comic books.
Pastel rainbows. ROYGBIV or not at all.
Religious items. Unless it's funny like Jesus on the turn tables or something. I have a very good sense of humor but I do not worship any gods.
Fashion photos with people or anything with a human likeness on it. I don't find them to be inspiring. I don't mind getting photos of people that involve my profile likes or if it is part of an ATC.
Please no bookmarks. I have many. :)

Hi, You are much younger than I. I was born in June 1945. I loved your lists. The only singer I recognized was Johnny Cash, but then . . . the others are probably very young (and hunks, I would hope!) Your color comments were interesting. I too dislike orange a great deal. I'm from Denver & everyone loves the Broncos, but that orange . . . Why??
I am a medical transcriptionist, so I know a bit about anatomy, but alas, I have no way of sending you a digital photo.
Have fun with your swaps. You seem to be an interesting and creative person.

I totally agree with you on the rainbows! :-)
And it sounds like you are quite crafty. I think it is so neat when people can craft items. I have yet to see an ATC, but I am hoping that I will get one in a swap someday. LoL

Hi, I am making your site less lonely, It sounds like you are very energetic. Living in LA must be an energetic experience on its own. I always think that I do not want to drive in LA again. I agree with you about perfumes. I have never liked pink myself but now that my hair has turned white I look good in it. I have chosen to change my ideas about it...lol. My at home ATC group just did a Beatles challenge and I did Yellow Submarine. I wanted to make it moving so it was hard, hard, hard. I come from a long line of make do artists. I also like the challenge of figuring out how to use what I already have. Take care and have fun. Peace out.
Wishing you a Happy September Birthday... from Raven and the Monthly ATC Swappers Group
