Description:

Admit it…you have at least one key on your keychain (or in your purse or your briefcase or your desk drawer) that opens…well…you have NO idea what. The hole that matches that key long ago vanished from your life, yet the key itself lingers on, creating clutter for you. It’s time to give that key a new life in art and send it out into the world. What new role might that old key take on? The key to your heart? The key to success? To the city? To happiness? The possibilities are as open as your imagination.

Here’s the scoop. One ATC to one partner. It may be based on any medium (paper, fabric, wood, polymer clay, etc.) and use any themes or colors, as long as it is standard ATC size (2.5" x 3.5") and includes one REAL key (any size or style) that no longer opens anything in your life. (The only restriction is that the backing should be sturdy enough to hold the weight of the key without crumpling.) Since it’s just one card, and the timeline isn’t too tight, please take some time and make a nice ATC you would be happy to receive. Minimum rating of 4.5 and no recent no-sends. Newbies welcome with filled out profile.

Sounds very cool - it's on my watch list.

Watching with interest. Don't know if I will sign up as I have recently come up with a couple of techniques that require me to keep and reuse my keys. ^^

Watching this- I actually just looked through my keys because I moved and discovered two that go to nothing! This is a great idea!

I've got lots of keys that I've collected for craft projects. I'm going to watch for now as mailing something with a key does increase the postal costs & I want to make sure I'm not overextended.
