Mix CD Scavenger Hunt 2009 v.3

Okay, I may as well admit it, I've gotten a little obsessed with these things. And so, I've decided to create a few more for the year.

For this swap you will be creating cds. Each cd must contain a minimum of 15 songs (can contain more). Each song must fulfill one of the categories noted below. You must include a track listing as well as an explanation as to which category the song fulfills. (Ideally I'd love an extra page in the package with a little note with each song telling a bit of a story (even just a sentence or two) about why it fits that category. So, if you have the time...)

You will have 2 partners and will be sending a cd to each partner.

Newbies are welcome. No unexplained recent ones and you must have signed into swapbot at least 2-3 days before I assign partners. This is international since postage should not be much.

Okay, those are the rules, now on to the categories:

1. The best song that was played at the last concert you went to.
2. A flirting (or flirty) song.
3. A heartbreak song.
4. A song that features the fiddle/violin.
5. A kid-friendly silly song.
6. A sappy song with a parent singing to or about his/her child(ren).
7. A song with a vehicle in the title.
8. A song that has been stuck in her head to the point that even though you like it you’re wishing for it to go away.
9. A song that mentions (in the title or in the lyrics) a scent.
10. A song that you fell in love with in the past 6 months.
11. Your favourite Neil Diamond song.
12. A song you played any instrument to. (or would if you could)
13. A song that gives you shivers every time you hear it.
14. A song that makes you think of a Sunday afternoon.
15. A song where you can hear the singer’s accent (an accent other than American or Canadian) quite clearly.
16. A shiny bubbly song.
17. A slow and intense song.
18. A song that makes you want to pick up and travel.
19. A song that contains a line or a phrase that you just love.
20. A song from the artist of the next concert that you’re attending.
21. A song that fills you with hope.
