Have you ever tried making a pocket on your ATC? I just learned this a few weeks ago, and it's so much fun. It's really easy, so I'll explain verbally. If anyone needs further instructions, I'll be glad to help. First you decide if you want the pocket to be part of the design and/or the background paper. If so, make it big enough to put a little card or paper item inside it. You can just wrap the same background paper on the ATC gluing the sides and just the very bottom part of the paper. You must leave some space to be able to put something in it. Or you can cut another piece of paper...any shape as long as it has more than three sides is ok, and glue only three of the edges down. You can also use brads, sewing, or eyelets...remember, it's a pocket, so anything that holds down the three sides is ok. You usually have the opening at the top, but on the side is ok also. You can stamp, paint, color, emboss, decorate your ATC any style. So make it 2.5 x 3.5 "...one per partner, only one partner so this should be easy. The card shown has a postcard pocket with a stamp over it. I put a tiny Bon Voyage card inside it. |
