Description:

onlyincambodia started a fabulous 090909 Postcard swap, but it's INternational and I can't quite afford 9 international partners, even with postcards, so I'm starting this one for USA only, it's short notice, but the sign up deadline will be a few days before the mailing date of Sept 9, 09, so three postcards shouldn't be hard to come up with!

3 partners, 1 postcard each, sender's choice

No flakers allowed--rated swappers must have 4.9+ and newbies must have a filled out profile and be committed to follow through.

Please get your postcard postmarked/hand canceled at the post office on Sept 9, 09 since this is the whole point of the thing!

If you just can't make it that day, maybe you shouldn't join this swap this time.

Please PM me with any questions.

My Grandson's Birthday is 09/09/09....please address the postcards to AJ....I plan to put these away for him until he's older to commemorate this special date!

Thanks, Sheri (savhilt)

navylady, the whole point is to try to get the 09-09-09 postmark on the postcards--so the best thing is to get them hand canceled by the postal worker that day--if you mail them sooner, the date won't be there, and even if you just drop them in a box on the day, they might not get stamped until the next day in some places, so the challenge here is to get the right date.

Good luck!

This is GREAT! I didn't join the other one because it was International and because it had SO many postcards to send. Thanks for doing this! I usually put the postcards in a postal box the evening before "the date" and then they get the correct date stamped on them.

Oh, never mind, I just read the instructions and other comments.

Ok.... So, September 9 is a Wednesday; I have class that day and many errands to run. Maybe I should drop this.

Let me think about it.

@ red leppard, if you haven't gotten a response yet, you click in the box at the top where is says see the partners you send to. A box pops up from there.
