Ernie the Envie is a cute swap-bot graphic icon. I took the liberty of altering him so he could be an official mascot of a group I founded. I thought what a cute idea for a swap! We need more altered Ernie's to use for profile & group badges. These can be altered for any kind of non commercial usage on profile pages, groups, blogs, newsletters, promotions, articles. If you don't know how... right click the picture, select- save image as Put it in a file you will know how to get back into in either documents or photos. Open that file into a program like paint or corel draw-to alter, then you can do this swap! Come join the fun as we give Ernie the Envie a makeover. Click here for the link to graphics Or right click the picture in the swap description to save & use. Use Flickr..., , Photobucket... or other photo hosting site, to host your finished icon graphic. Send a link to your partner of your hosted altered digital image thru swap-bot's private messaging or with a profile comment linked to display the graphic. Some ideas to get your creative juices flowing include but are not limited to- Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Year's, Valentine, Birthday-any holiday themes are fun! FORMATTING YOUR PROFILE AND FORUM POSTS-PICTURES

To make a clickable link so readers can access it easily, put the link description in square brackets and the URL in round brackets, like this - [link description] (URL) - but with no space between the 2 parts.

To display a picture rather than just link to it, make a clickable link as above, but put an exclamation mark immediately before it - ! [picture title] (URL) - again with no spaces between the 3 parts.

If you can figure out how to post pictures, you are ready to do this swap. Feel free to practice on your own profiles and use the preview button to make sure you got it right.

I love Ernie-themed creations! Please just remember that Ernie is my baby and I love him very much. Don't put him in any situations that would make his mama sad. :)

Here is an example of how the link should look when you type it--you must have the picture stored online as in Flickr, or Fotki, etc, and get the URL of it from there, then type it in like this:

You don't need to put a title in between the brackets after the !, just put two empty brackets.

Doing an active link is the same thing, except no !, and you need to put a title or name in the brackets of the thing you are linking to. like, [this is my website] (http://www.twobluecrows.com)--leave no spaces between the brackets and parentheses and you get this:

this is my website
