Description:

For this swap we will be making a "Nordic House Christmas Ornament" using this tutorial from the Orange Flower: Sketchbook blog.

We will each have one partner and will be making the SMALL version of the house ornament (approx. 2.75" X 6.5" finished size). Don't forget to click on the template below the directions to make actual size and print out!

The tutorial is very simple and leaves a lot of room for putting your own finishing touches to it!

The fabric choices are senders choice - so you are able to start your house before the partners are assigned if you like!

I think these are super cute and I am excited to make one and also to see what my partner makes for me!! Have fun! :)

This swap is open to all NFS members in good standing and with fully completed profiles.

Gonna have to drop this for now. I'm on the verge of being over-committed on swap. :(

This is so cute! I would love to join this but I haven't the time to work on it this month and to get all the embroidery finished in a few weeks of November....I don't think I have that much free time. :-(

Cute swap though....

I have advised my partner that I cannot mail this swap until tomorrow (Nov. 17).

TerryF 11/19/2009 #

Advised my partner on Nov. 16 that I would be late sending this swap - mailed it today, Nov. 19.

I found that the small version template, when sewn together, came out somewhat smaller than the size stated (the partner who sent to me had the same thing happen to her). Since I used the smaller version specified, I hope I won't be rated down because it doesn't mnatch the size.

@TerryF - that is weird that it came out smaller!! But if you see in the swap description I wrote approx. size - so I am sure you would not be rated down as the size was not set in stone to be exactly 2.75" X 6.5"!!
