Description:

A quick and easy swap, inexpensive and international.

For this swap, you will send each of your swap partners three vegetarian recipes. "Vegetarian" for the purposes of this swap means, "does not contain a speck of meat of any kind." The recipes can be for a simple sauce or salad, or full-out star-of-the-potluck entrees. Try for variety.

Additionally, you'll send your swap partners a small surprise. Some ideas: an ATC (or two), a list of URLs you think your partner might like, a small sketch of your salt and pepper shakers, a photo, a list of craft books you've read and enjoyed, a tiny envelope of glitter, a poem, a bookmark, a couple of pixy sticks, a flat fridge magnet.

Any cool little thing (or combination of things) can be the "plus" you send along with your three recipes. You can even send extra recipes. Whatever. Check your partners' profiles to see if you have some little thing that they mention liking, or collecting.

Let your final criterion be: "Would I think it was cool to get this from a swap partner?"

To keep things even, however, aim to keep your envelope weight under one ounce. That's the weight limit for a single first-class stamp for a flat, regular-sized envelope within the United States, or one ninety-cent airmail stamp from the US to the rest of the world (no pixy sticks if your partner isn't domestic!).

No postal or kitchen scale? Do the best you can, but err on the side of lightness. Postage due sucks. [Oh, and five US quarter-dollars equal one ounce, if that helps.]

This swap is international, open to the rawest of newbies and anyone with a rating average over 3. Please note the quick turn-around time. You'll have five days after assignment of partners to get your envelopes in the mail.

Please remember to rate people who send you stuff. It's polite.

Happy swapping!
