Description:

I'm not even pagan, but something keeps compelling me to create this swap, so here goes; I think it would be cool to make a collaborative mail art Book of Shadows type thing. Swap participants will make and decorate 4 x 6 inch cards on which they inscribe useful information relevant to their belief system. The finished cards will be the perfect size for storing in an album.

You will have three swap partners and you will send two cards to each partner. This means that you will decorate, in total, 6 cards.

What kind of information should go on the cards? You can put meditations, prayers, chants, spells, ritual instructions, lists of uses for herbs or gems, recipes for pagan holiday foods or recipes for things like herbal teas etc, information about myths or important historical pagan cultures or events, instructions for pagan crafts....As you can see, there is a wide variety of information you can choose to put on your cards, and you can decorate them in any manner you choose to, so have fun and be creative with this.

Please put the information on one side of the card only so that people may choose to put their cards in an album or paste them into a book.

I'll probably only host this swap once; if participants enjoy it, I welcome anyone to make a sequel or turn it into a series if there is enough interest.

Have fun and feel free to jump on in :)

woah! almost forgot to put the swap participant requirements. here goes; you must have 5 or more mailed and rated swaps and a rating of 4.8 or higher. I'll be checking profiles! If you don't meet requirements but you still really want to participate, pm me and we can work something out (I will swap with you privately if you have a filled-out profile.)

What a fun idea. Can you recommend any web sites to look up any sort of info. to add to the cards?
