Description:

Member Sooty2Shoes ran a zentangle bookmark swap back in February, and she has graciously passed the torch to me for this second round.

On this occasion you will create two zentangle bookmarks and send one to each of your two partners.

Bookmarks should be rectangular, and can be of any size -- but let's stay within reason here (no super huge or teeny tiny ones). They can be done in the traditional black and white, or in any other color combination. They should be original and hand-drawn.

Have fun and be creative. There are no mistakes in Zentangles! Do put some effort into it, though; aspire to zentangles comparable in quality to those on the first page of the link below.

A rating average of at least 4.5 is required to participate. Newbies are welcome as long as you have a fabulously filled out profile and pm me before the sign-up deadline with a promise that you will not flake. I reserve the right to ban anyone for any reason -- but I won't use that power recklessly. If you look "suspicious," have a rating lower than 4.5, or have a checkered past but have turned over a new leaf and still want to join this swap, tell me about it in a pm and we'll talk -- but it is your responsibility to contact me, as I won't be running around trying to track you down. Timely communication is the key!

Don't forget to rate your partners when you receive your items.

Just watched some youtube videos on what zentangle is and I have to say I'm intrigued. It seems easy enough at the least, lol. I'm watching the swap now but I think I may try it out.

Once you start to do the tangles you want to do more. I did boxes for Christmas, the Black and White Postcard Swap I did tangles, on another swap on the info area did some tangles. They just go anywhere and add a little something extra.

same for me as what @moonorchid9484 said. I saw the pictures and a video and it just seems like a lot of fun. I keep watching this until I gave it a test run! :)

I've got to take 2 plane rides before this swap and this seems like the perfect plane activity :) Going to try my first!

Ok, couldn't wait, did mine! ;) First zentangles and that was fun. Seems like art in a true raw form - just decorative lines.

This is great! I LOVED doing the last one!!

angelstar 05/10/2010 #

Do they HAVE to be laminated??

angelstar 05/10/2010 #

When are partners going to be assigned???

catlingmex 05/11/2010 #

No, laminating is not required. I am about the assign partners in a few minutes.

Yeah..... sorry I dropped out of this one. :-(
Boo, hoo.....
should have been more patient!
