Tall tale: A story with unbelievable elements, related as if it were true and factual. This idea came to me while daydreaming in my hammock today. How about a fun postcard swap where we make up a short, highly fictional tale about what's on the front of the card? For example: I could use a postcard with a photo of a lighthouse on it and write about how I live in this lighthouse as the light keeper, and how I generate all the electricity needed for living there using my 23 pet hamsters running on their wheels, and how the light is actually from 2000 lightning bugs I lease from a local insect farm... you get the idea. Just get fun and creative with this! This could be a fun way to use an otherwise boring postcard you've had laying around, or a great way to showcase a strange or wacky card. I made this swap with store bought cards in mind, but I bet homemade or even some ad cards could be fodder for great stories, so I'm allowing any type of card for this swap. Sender's choice, to be sent naked. Sorry, but no one with a rating less than 4.7 will be allowed in this swap. If you have any 1's or 3's in the past 2 months PM me with an explanation. Oh yes, and remember to write your name and the name of the swap on the card. |
