Description:

My boyfriend is a total crisp addict so I'm doing this swap especially for him...X.

Anyways you will have one partner each and you will send 5 different flavoured regular sized packets of crisps. That's roughly 30 - 40 grams or 1.06 - 1.4 lbs.

To prevent the crisp packets from being popped in the post you will have to post them in a box but I'm sure they will be pretty inexpensive to mail as they are so light. Choose your box wisely as it will factor majorly in the cost of shipping.

Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile. Anyone else must not have had any 3's or 1's in the past 6 months. I will be checking profiles throughly.

Please NO FLAKERS, this is a simple swap so if you don' intend on completing it please don't sign up.

I'm curious to see the reception this swap will receive as I haven't seen one like it here before. If anyone thinks I should make some changes to the swap feel free to let me know as I am new to this.

HAPPY SWAPPING! Xx

regular size packets???

debbiesw 06/ 1/2010 #

I've done a crisp swop before and its the box that can be weighty for posting them in, choose your box carefully

smokeandmirrors 06/ 1/2010 #

How many grams per packet?

Marian 06/ 1/2010 #

Yes regular size packets, their about 30-40 grams aren't they?

smokeandmirrors 06/ 1/2010 #

Oh, ok, smaller packets! Phew! I was imagining sending 5 big packets, haha. Will watch the swap and see if i can afford it closer to sign up. :-)

box size does factor into the shipping price especially international shipping so make sure to pick a light weight box not tooo thick or big.

since this is international you may want to put the conversion of the weight amounts into oz/lbs since in the US we don't go by grams. Just a thought

imburton 06/ 1/2010 #

This may be silly but what exactly is a 'crisp'?

naddie 06/ 1/2010 #

agree with @debbiesw and @ReduceReuseRepurpose regarding the box weight.

I think certain places consider in the volumetric weight as well?

I'd like to add: can all 5 be the same or it's required to send a variety? just checking (:

Lanie 06/ 1/2010 #

@imburton crisp is the UK english word for potato chips as we know them in the US

tienke2404 06/ 1/2010 #

i'm already participating a potatoechips-swap

But i want to join this one too :)

NicoleJoy 06/ 1/2010 #

@naddie I'd assume all 5 are different varieties.

kirstykai 06/ 2/2010 #

I dont like salt and vinegar flavour but anything else is good :0)

Marian 06/ 2/2010 #

Ok so 30 - 40 grams is roughly 1.06 - 1.4 lbs (Hope that's right)

I totally agree with what you have said regarding the shipping box, do choose the lightest box possible.

Also it would be better if there were a variety of different crisp flavours instead of just one please.

Thanks for all your comments and help, I really appreciate it as I am new to creating swaps myself....xX.
