Description:

It's summer up here in the Northern Hemisphere! Can't stand the heat? Get the heck out of the kitchen! :) For everyone else, this is the swap for you!

"...Hey, good lookin', what'ya got cookin'?" :)

If you're like me, you've got more than enough cookbooks to go around. Time to share the wealth! For this swap, you will send at least one (gently) used cookbook to one partner.

I, for one, am a big fan of those leaflet cookbooks (like the kind you get at the checkout stand), but I wouldn't dream of swapping just one of these fast-and-fun cookbooks for a full-blown cookbook. So the rule is that you must send AT LEAST 150 PAGES, in however many cookbooks it takes.

This swap is international, but cookbooks must be in English. Also, cookbooks must be store-bought. That means no home-printing recipes, stapling it and calling it a cookbook. Feel free to add extra recipes for fun though. :)

Also, this swap is SENDER'S CHOICE. So I suggest you think long and hard before joining if you are a very fussy eater or have a lot of dietary restrictions. More likely than not, you'll get at least a few recipes that you can try from the book that you receive anyway. Let's all just have fun and try something new. :)

No recent 1's or no-sends. Newbies welcome with a filled out profile. Feel free to message me or comment below with questions.

Happy swapping!

If you need a hint (and have many to choose from) I love ones that have quick one pot meals, salads, Bisquick, old fashioned church potluck type, and appetizers.

What about the bound cookbooks that are put out by community groups or families? The ones that are professionally printed?

I love those! Would they be acceptable?

@BeckyKay Those are great! Just as long as it's professionally printed. It must be a bound book, not just stapled pages. :) Thanks for asking! Hope you join us!
