I'm a 30-something mom of two - a boy and a girl. I've been married for 17 years, and we've lived in the same small town for nearly that long! We actually live in a church which my husband and I converted to a home right after we got married.
Red is my absolute favorite color. I collect pincushions, vintage sewing gear and pink & red pyrex. I also love anything vintage and quirky. (I'm the crazy woman at the auction who will buy an item that no one else wants for a dollar!) Toys from the 80s make me happy, especially Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony & Rainbow Brite!
I collect American Girl dolls and love to find doll sized things to display with my girls. I am currently building and decorating a 5 room doll house. I enjoy sewing and creating things to use with my displays.
My son is 12 years old and very into all things dinosaur, reptile and shark. He also fancies himself a hunter and fisherman.
My daughter is almost 6 years old and a total girlie girl. She loves pink & purple, princesses and dancing.
We have three cats - Cheeto Burrito, Sophie and Savanna. I'm pretty much a sucker for a stray, but am currently at my husband's limit for furry babies!
I have been scrapbooking since 1995 and absolutely love it! I don't get a lot of time to work on my books these days, but relish anytime I get to put towards it.
I also enjoy crocheting and sewing. Anything to keep my hands busy.
I read constantly and will read almost anything except horror, non-fiction and biography. (Unless those are about a subject that really interests me.) Historical fiction is probably my favorite, but I can't turn down a good chick lit read, either!
